Affordable Wire Management Continues to Dominate Utility-Scale Solar Cable Management, Advances Innovative, Industry-First Solutions for the Battery Energy Storage Sector

AWM’s Continued Leadership in Grid-Scale PV Cable Management, Expansion into Battery Storage, Positions the Company for Another Year of Vigorous Growth

Tempe, Ariz. – February 18, 2026 – Affordable Wire Management (AWM), a leading provider of utility-scale PV Cable Management Systems (CMS) and wire management solutions for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), announced today another record year of innovative developments, team expansion, and first-to-market offerings for utility-scale renewables power plants. To date, over 40 gigawatts (GW) of AWM’s offerings have been installed at more than 720 projects across the globe. This past year, AWM also secured partnerships with all of the 10 top EPCs in North America and is continuing to broaden globally.

Known for value-engineered, optimized PV cable management solutions, last year the AWM team redoubled their efforts and applied that expertise to the energy storage sector. In the spring of 2025, the company launched the industry’s first bespoke wire management offering for BESS – the Strata System. The System features Strata Pack, Strata Cleats, and Strata Foundations which received Best in Show by Solar Power World in the large-scale category of their annual Top Products Listing awards. To date, AWM has designed BESS wire management solutions that are compatible with Fluence, Tesla, Sungrow, LG Energy Solution, EPC Power, Nidec Conversion, Hithium, and more. The Strata System minimizes components, simplifies deployment for EPCs, and assures reliability across the full lifecycle of stand-alone storage or hybrid solar-plus-storage renewables power plants.

“AWM’s consistent progress is directly linked to our collaborative approach with EPCs, EORs, and grid-scale power plant owners. We incorporate their requirements into our technology roadmap, ensuring that all our solutions simplify project design, deliver on reliability, and maximize returns,” said Scott Rand, CEO and Co-Founder of AWM. “Additionally, we are now actively involved in projects in North America, Central America, South America, and Australia, and we are pleased to see that the international response to our offerings has been very positive. We remain committed to deploying lasting, reliable products at scale.”

AWM supported several notable power plants in 2025, including RES’s Faraday Solar, a 525 megawatt (MW) PV array in Utah that will supply electricity to power Meta’s data centers.  AWM’s CMS manages cable routing for over 1.2 million solar panels on the site.

AWM’s proprietary Ampacity Optimization Analysis was applied to further enhance project efficiency for EDP Renewables North America’s  Ragsdale Solar Park and Wolf Run Solar Park.

In October, AWM joined Primoris, Guzman Energy, Alluvial Power and the local utility Delta-Montrose Electric Association (DMEA) to celebrate the completion of Garnet Mesa Solar. The 80 MW agrivoltaics site in Delta County, Colorado is amongst the largest in the United States; it generates enough power for 18,000 homes and feeds 1,300 sheep. AWM’s durable, all-metal CMS will continue to support operations for years to come. Additionally, AWM developed a first-of-its kind irrigation management system, designed specifically for this power plant to support the grazing livestock.

Another highlight is Atlas Energy Park, located in La Paz County, Arizona, where AWM’s CMS, Bonsai Hangers and Pinyon Hanger are being installed. AWM’s Pinyon is critical for this site, as it is the industry’s first asymmetrical hanger for North-South Trunk Bus Systems. Its unique structure supports the messenger cable directly at the piles, eliminating the need for support brackets, which then helps reduce material, labor, and the moment-load on piles. Combined, the Atlas sites that feature AWM solutions will provide a total capacity of 1,100 MW of PV power coupled with 1,050 MW / 4,200 MWh of energy storage when it reaches commercial operation later this year.

To meet growing global demand and support its expanded product offerings, AWM also added several new strategic positions to the company last year.

Dan Smith, Co-founder and CTO of AWM concluded, “While our expansion into the BESS sector was a defining accomplishment this past year, we also made countless improvements to our PV product line. From releasing our Solar Strap and EZ Pile, to the updated Gen 5 Arden Hanger, our team continues to bring new innovations to market while keeping our focus on refining existing offerings.”
